Jill Del Prete and Gill Knights are our two specialist Thrive practitioners working in school to support a range of children and families. Between them they have over 40 years’ experience working within educational settings and multi-agency teams.
The essential Thrive intervention provided supports children with their developmental growth, resilience, social skills and self esteem. This supports positive change in relation to inclusion, attendance, transition, behaviour for learning, child development and social emotional well-being.
They also offer CPD sessions for our staff in regards to understanding and implementing the Thrive approach across school.
Thrive assessments and action plans are available from the team for school and home. This ensures a collaborative approach with strategies and activities pinpointed at the correct developmental stage for each individual child.
The Thrive team are currently supporting a group of our year 8 students with the up and coming transition to King Edwards, ensuring when the time comes they are fully prepared for this milestone in their lives.
